Spanish Scientific Research about Popular Science is analyzed to identify the main scientific agents, dissemination means and subjects in this field. It is an heterogeneous area related to several scientific disciplines and purposes, stand out above them Information and Education. 286 journal articles and 50 PhD Thesis have been analyzed, observing a high increase of publications in 90s remaining until now. The five most important research cores identified are the followings: Science Journalism, Science Literacy, Linguistics and the researches related to Museums and Scientific Disciplines such as Medicine, Environment or Archaeology.

This paper describes and analyses how heritage concept evolves and changes from Spanish law on heritage. For that, it is analyzed explicitly heritage concept and focus on natural and geological heritage from three documents. In this analysis, we observe an evolutionary-conceptual tendency of the heritage and its teaching, in which apparently there is no single concept about heritage and, therefore, a single educational perspective. Resumen: En el presente artículo se realiza un estudio sobre diversas definiciones de alfabetización científica.Basándonos en ellas se elabora una serie de indicadores de la misma y se presenta un diseño experimental que pretende evaluar el grado de alfabetización científica del alumnado del bachillerato científico tecnológico (GCT) y el de humanidades y ciencias sociales (GHS) en dichos aspectos, comparándolos entre sí. Los resultados ponen de manifiesto que conceptualmente el alumnado del GCT tiene un mayor grado de conocimiento científico que el alumnado GHS.
